The Spook Trail began as the hobby of a group of friends and family here in Union County, Florida in the fall of 2004. It is an effort to offer a safe and inexpensive alternative to other haunted house Halloween attractions and activities for our community. As it grew, some of the scenes created where to large to move. We decided to come up with a permanent location at the Kirby Farm, for ease of construction, and storage. This helped with putting things together between seasons. A regular core group of dedicated volunteers emerged to work on the multiple horror scenes, without whom Tombstone would not be possible. In addition to those specifically listed below, we enthusiastically thank the dozens of volunteers who show up each night. This keeps the experience of the spook trail running, and provides our patrons with the best fearful experience we can offer!.
